Text Filter visual provides a search box that can be used to filter all other visuals on your report with a text contains search on the field you specify.
This visual is certified by Microsoft Power BI.
Let’s get started-
Download Sample dataset- Global_superstore_2016.xls
Now follow these steps:
Step-1: Import Orders dataset from Global superstore file.
Step-2: To import visual from app source you have to Logged-In first in Power BI desktop.
After that click on ellipsis icon under Visualization Pane > then click on Get more visuals.

Step-3: After that one dialogue appears and follow these steps-
Under AppSource Tab > Select Category “All” > Search for “Text Filter” > Click on Add button.

Step-4: Now add some visuals into Power BI report page-
1- Table visual column: Region, Sales & Profit
2- Clustered bar chart column: Region & Sales

Step-5: After that add Text Filter visual into report page and drag Region column into Field section.

Step-6: Now you can filter all report page visuals by typing into search box.

So you can see in above screen shot it will filter all visuals based on search keyword. Using clear icon button you can clear the entered text.
