In this blog you will understand “How to sort data by legend in Power BI Visual?”
Microsoft Power BI team released sort legend feature in Nov-2021 updates. Using this feature you can now adjust the sort direction for items in your legends.
Note: Currently, this feature only allows you to sort by the field in your legend field well.
Let’s get started-
Add clustered column chart with some fields, see below given screen shot-
Now in order to sort data by legend follow the below steps-
Click on visual ellipsis icon(three dot icon) >Select Sort legend > Choose Sort descending/ Ascending
Now you can see the final result after sort the data by legend.
